Note: before inserting a SIM card, please ensure the controller is powered off.
Trimble T7 Controller
1. If the device is on, turn it off.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screws to remove both the module bay covers from the back of the device. Or, if you are using EMPOWER modules,remove them in the same way.
3. Flip the SD/SIM bay door open, and insert the SIM card into the respective slot. Note: Please insure the SIM is the correct orientation and size before inserting, failure to correctly insert sim can damage the SIM card tray.
4. Close the SIM bay door and replace the module bay covers, or if using EMPOWER modules, re-attach them.
5. Once the above steps have been completed, power on the controller and navigate to the Network menu on the desktop.
6. Confirm the Cellular tile is blue.
7. To confirm you SIM card has been successfully installed and is connected to the internet, check the connection status shows Connected as per below. Now connected, go to your preferred web browser and test the connection.

Trimble TSC5 Controller
Note: before inserting a SIM card, please ensure the controller is powered off.
1. If the device is on, turn it off
2. Using the Philips screwdriver, loosen the 4 screws to remove the cover from the back of the device.
3. Pry open the MicroSIM card door using the tool located on the stylus tether as shown; do not remove the door completely.
4. Slide the microSIM card into the slot in the orientation shown on the microSIM door.
5. Close the microSIM door, making sure it clicks shut.
6. Replace the cover and tighten the 4 screws using the Philips screwdriver.
7. Power the controller on and navigate to the home screen and swipe down from the top of the screen.
8. Now tap on Internet.
9. Insure the slider is selected as per the below and the status is showing "Connected"
10. To confirm you are connected to the internet, select the browser and complete a Google search.
