Trimble Works Subscription will automatically check for new machine licenses every 45 days. If the subscription has ended, or the modem fails to connect to a cellular network, the license ‘check in’ will fail, and the components will not be available for use.
Should internet services not be possible to allow for ‘check-in’ you can manually generate a 45-day license.
Please see below steps for generating a Manual License.
- Open Trimble License Manager in your browser.
- : Log in using your Trimble ID (TID) username and password
- Navigate to the Platforms tab to see all the available Subscription bundles that have been purchased
4. Select the EarthWorks tile.
5. Selecting the Earthworks Button will prompt the information on how and where a zip file of pass-codes will be generated. Select the Download tab to download the .txt files required to upload to and EarthWorks device.
6. Once the ZIP file has been downloaded, please unzip the .txt file and copy the file onto a USB stick.
7. Now that the Text file has been added to the USB, plug the USB into the desired EarthWorks machine and login to the WebUI of the machine.
8. This will take you to the login page. If your machine was Installed by SITECH Construction System, the login will be as per below.
User: admin
Password: Sitech#01
Note: Please reach out to your local SITECH dealer for the correct user and password information
9. Navigate to the Advanced menu and select Licenses.
10. Select Add License File. You may be required to unlock the WebUI at this point. Select the unlock option if seen, as per below.
11. This will now allow you to explore the USB you have plugged in and add the Text Files. Select your USB on the left side and navigate to the .txt file and tap on the file.
12. This will now load the license to the receiver(s) and the timed term will update.
