Internal Modem Setup (R980 & R750)

Note: Before proceeding please ensure your SIM card is Active 

R980 SIM Location:

1. Ensure the Receiver is powered down before inserting the SIM.

2. Insert the SIM card with the contacts
facing upward, as indicated by the SIM
card icon next to the SIM card slot. You will fell the SIM 'click' into place.

3. You can now power on the receiver.

R750 SIM Location: 

1. Ensure the receiver is turned off.

2. Remove the cover on the bottom of the receiver to
access the SIM card slot.

3. Insert the nano-SIM card until it 'clicks'.

4. Reattach the cover over the SIM card slot.

Configuring the Modem in WebUI: 

1. login to the WebUI Accessing the WebUI of the receiver and select the LTE Modem menu

2. Enter your APN (if using a Telstra SIM card, use Telstra.internet) and select the Enable ticker box.

3. Now tap Save to save the settings. 

4. In order for the modem to complete the SIM registration, power cycle the receiver. Once the receiver is powered back on, go back into the WebUI and confirm the receiver is connected to the internet.

You will now see the Internet status change to Up and connected if successful . See below fro reference.
