NTRIP Configuration/ Setup

Note: Before proceeding, please confirm you have an internet connection to the Base either via an external modem or using the internal modem (R750 & R980 Only). Please contact SITECH Support if you are unsure.

Internal Modem Setup (R980 & R750)

Note: You will require a static IP service in order to proceed with the below. SITECH can provide a DYNDNS Address if required.

1. Gain access to the receivers WebUI and login. Please use Accessing the WebUI if you are unsure how to access.
2. Navigate to Security menu inside the WebUI and select Configuration.

3. Inside the Security Configuration menu, enter a User Name and Password (twice to confirm) in the below boxes and select the NTripCaster box. Then select Add User. Note: you may be required to confirm the change with your original password you use to login to your base.

4. Once the User has been added, you will see your User appear in the below list.

5. Navigate to the I/O Configuration Page and select an NTRIP Caster port. e.g. NTRIP Caster 1.

6. Flowing the below, enter the correct credentials and user preferences.

 A. Enable the NTripCaster and set the Port to :2101

 B. Enter an Indentifier & Mount Point. This can be named at your discretion. Country to be set to AUS

 C. Select the desired correction output e.g. CRMx, RTCM etc. Note: Please only enable one, dual output not supported.

 D. Select OK to save the settings 

Note: Only 10 devices can be connect to each port at any one time. This will allow you to run up to 30 Machines with all 3 Ports configured.

7. Once saved, the I/O menu will be displayed again. Once you have connected a Rover/ Controller to the NTRIP port, the port line will turn green.
