- Inside your WorksManager account, select Projects
2. Now select +Create in the top right of the screen
3. In the next window, give your WorksManager project a name and select Next
4. You will now see the Configuration Files window. From this page, you will be given the option to add in the Project Settings while setting up the project. These files can be added by selecting and adding them from your PC's local drive. These files include -
(A) - Site Calibration (see section 5)
(B) - Geo Data/ Geoid files
(C) - Control File/ CSV
(D) - 2D Avoidance Zones
(E) - Feature Codes - For SiteWorks controller
(F) - SiteWorks controller settings file
(G) - Background site map - 2D reference lines only
Note: if you do not have the required files at time of project setup, this step can be skipped by deselecting the Enable 3D (H) option and selecting Next. This will also disable .TAG file creation require for the Trimble WorksOS platform.
5. When adding Calibration you will have the 3 options below.
Option 1 - Local Site Calibration from your PC's local storage.
Option 2 - Start a project from a Published Coordinate System. From here you can pick your required Datum and this will automatically publish a .cal/.dc file to the project.
Option 3 - Import from a SiteWorks controller. This allows you to perform a local site calibration prior to the setup of a Project and import that calibration directly into your WorksManager Project. Simply select the controller that carried out the localisation and the .dc file will be available for upload.
6. Once one of the above options has been completed, you will see the below. Select Next.
7. You will now be prompted to create a 'Project Boundary'. Use the Draw Boundary option to create the Geo-fence around your project. Note: the 'Enter an Address' option can narrow the field of view quickly, making it easier to create the boundary.
8. Once the Boundary has been created, select Finish.
9. Your project will now populate the project list in your account. You can now start adding devices and data to your project.
