Adding Designs to a Project

Once the project has been setup Starting a New Project, you can now add design data to WorksManager for both Machine Control & Data Collector devices. 

1. Under the Designs tab, select +ADD on the top right of the page

   

2. Now select the desired device type

   

3. You can now upload your design files by selecting the + below

   

4. This will open up the 'File Explorer' page on your PC. From here you can navigate to your design files and upload to WorksManager by selecting Open. Individual Surface & Lineworks files can be uploaded if not using a .vcl

5. Your data will now be available and ready to publish to the project. You will also be able to review your data in the 3D viewer, on the right

6. Now select Next

7. From here, you can select the machines that require the design to be uploaded. Use the ticker box to pick the correct devices and select Publish

8. Your design will now be displayed in the 'Active Design' list and will be automatically pushed out to the Machine Control devices. NOTE: SiteWorks devices will need to perform a manual sync in order to download the designs from WorksManager
