Before Proceeding, make sure that the Modem is connected to the internet. Please refer to SNM94x Modem Configuration if you are unsure of the connecting status.
To add new Machines, you will need to have a Laptop or Phone with access to the WorksManager web page, whilst being in the cab of the machine. You will also be required to login with your active TID inside WorksManager
1. Login to the Web Interface app on the machine
2. This will take you to the login page. If your machine was Installed by SITECH Construction System, the login will be as per below
User: admin
Password: Sitech#01
Note: Please reach out to your local SITECH dealer for the correct user and password information
3. Once logged in, on the left side under Network, select Cloud Services (this could also be named Connected Community, if running an old version of EarthWorks)
4. Before proceeding, insure the unlock button has been selected. This will allow you to edit the settings.
5. Once unlocked, you can now enter the details required to connect to your WorksManager account.
6.1 Select Trimble Construction Cloud (A) as the service type
6.2 Enter your Short Organization Name (B). This is found under the Details tab inside your WorksManager account, see below example.
6.3 Using the last 4 digits of the serial number on your EC520 (C), enter the 4 digits as the Device Password (D)
6.4 Make sure the WorksManager Reporting (E) slider is tuned on
6.5 Tap on the Save (F) button at the bottom of the screen
7. Once the above has been saved, inside WorksManager under the Devices menu at the top right corner, select +ADD
8.1 Select the correct Device Model from the list (A). Trimble EarthWorks machines need to be 'EC520-W'
8.2 Enter the Serial Number of the EC520 (B)
8.3 Enter the Device Name (C) (note: this is case sensitive and needs to match the name given on the EC520, see below example)
8.4 The Description can be a plant/ unit number (D)
8.5 Enter the 4 digit Password (E) you entered inside the Web Interface menu. This will need to be entered twice to confirm
8.6 Now select ADD (F)
9. The machine will now be available in the list of devices inside your account
10. Inside the Machine Web Interface, make sure the Data box is ticket Green. This confirms the connection has been successful. If this box goes amber, please start again from step 6.1.
11. The machine is now available to add to a WorksManager Project.
