Before Proceeding, make sure that the modem is connected to the internet.
To add new Machines, you will need to have a Laptop or Phone with access to the WorksManager web page, whilst being in the cab of the machine. You will also be required to login with your active TID inside WorksManager
1. with the screen turned off, hold down the OK and Power buttons together for approximately 10 seconds or until the Trimble/ CAT logo appears. This starts the machine in "Managers Mode".
2. Now select the Menu Button
3. Select the Installation soft key
4. Select Connectivity Settings using the D-pad and select OK
5. Scroll down to Connected Community Settings and select OK
6.1 Now add the Device Password (A) (Use the last 4 digits of the serial number e.g. 0277)
6.2 then the Short Organization Name (B) ( This is found under the Details tab inside your WorksManager account, see below example.
7. Once the above has been completed, inside WorksManager under the Devices menu at the top right corner, select +ADD
8.1 Select the correct Device Model from the list (A).
8.2 Enter the Serial Number of the CB460, this can be found under the Device ID on the previous step (B)
8.3 Enter the Device Name (C) (note: this is case sensitive and needs to match the name given on the CB460, the device name is found inside the Installation menu under Machine Settings (see below example)
8.4 The Description can be a plant/ unit number (D)
8.5 Enter the 4 digit Password (E) you entered inside the Connected Community Settings menu. This will need to be entered twice to confirm
8.6 Now select ADD (F)
9. Now on the CB460, hit the Test soft key
10. This will confirm the connection with WorksManager and you will see the below screen. Press OK to save the settings
11. Using the Auto Sync soft key, insure this is set to Enabled and then hit the OK button to save settings
12. Navigate back to the Configuration menu using the soft key (B) then toggle down the Mapping/Recording Settings (A) and select OK
13. On the next screen, toggle the fist two setting to YES as per the below example then select OK to save the settings
