IBSS Configuration/ Setup

Note: Before proceeding, please confirm you have an internet connection to the Base either via an external modem or using the internal modem (R750 & R980 Only). Please contact SITECH Support if you are unsure.

Internal Modem Setup (R980 & R750)

1. Gain access to the receivers WebUI and login. Please use Accessing the WebUI if you are unsure how to access.

2. Navigate to I/O Configuration menu inside the WebUI and select Port Summary.

   

    

   3. Select the desired IBSS Sever port e.g. IBSS/NTRIP Server 1

   

4. Inside the IBSS/NTRIP Server menu, select the Enable & IBSS Mode boxes as per below (A). 

Enter your TCC Organization, this is your Short Org name inside WorksManager (B) 

Enter a Password, this will be the last 4 digits of the serial number on the base (this will need to be entered twice to confirm) (C)

Example: 

TCC Organization: SCSDEMO

TCC Password: 8026

5. Inside WorksManager, On the DEVICES page, click + Add at the upper right.

6. Select the Device Model or Add Custom Model (used if the device isn't shown in the list)

7. Then enter the Serial Number of the device (shown on step 4). This will now populate the Device Name automatically.

8. Enter the same 4 digit password you used in step 4, and select Add.

9. Back inside the Base WebUI, select the desired output for the base and hit OK to save settings. 

10. You will now see the port turn green which will confirm the connection to the IBSS server.

You will also see the Base connected in the Internet base Station section inside WorksManager
