Using WorksManagers IBSS with Trimble & Non Trimble Devices

Before proceeding, ensure your Base Station is setup and transmitting through the IBSS port. Refer to below article for more information.

1. Login to your WorksManager account and select Internet base Stations from the menu.

     2. Once inside the menu, select the base you wish to broadcast to your project.

3. You will now see the option to Disable/Enable 3rd Party Access. Select the small pencil icon in blue.

4. The below tile will appear, by selecting Enable 3rd Party Access an auto generated Username will appear.  Note: The Username cannot be changed and is set by the IBSS Server.

5. The password has two options; you can either keep the auto generated option (A) or create your own (B)

             Option A: a password will be created for you. Skip to step 6.

Option B: by selecting Reset password you will now see the below tile and a password can be created by the user. Enter your password in each box to match and then select Reset.

6. Now Select Done.

7. Your base will now show 3rd Party Access as Enabled.

8. By selecting the pencil icon again, this will allow you to see the credentials that will need to be added to the device (field controller or machine control device).

10. Depending on the device you will now be able to select the desired stream. As an example, the stream for the above base would display as UPGBRIS1__wm_SCSDEMO.

NOTE: Up to 100 devices can be connected to a single base station using this method.
