Project Setup Menu

The Project Setup menu is where you manage everything related to your job - including Projects, Designs, and Work Orders and Device connections.

What You Can Do Here

Use Project Setup to:

• Create, open, and manage projects, designs, and work orders
• Switch between existing jobs on your controller
• Review current project details and settings
• Connect your GNSS receiver or total station

Accessing Project Setup

• From the Home menu, tap Project Setup
• You’ll see two main options:
  • Change Project
  • Review Project

Change Project

Select Change Project to:

• Open an existing project stored on the controller, or
• Create a new project, work order, design and surface

How it works:

• Tap on a project row to select an existing job
• Tap the + (or Create New) option to set up a new one

Review Project

Select Review Project to quickly check:

• The current project, work order, design and surface
• Key site settings, such as:
  • Distance and angle units
  • Coordinate order
  • Other project configuration details

This is useful for confirming everything is set correctly before starting work.

Connecting Your Equipment

To connect your instrument:

1. Tap Connect Device
2. Choose either:
   • GNSS, or
   • Total Station or
   • Integrated Survey 

After Connecting a Device

Once your GNSS or total station is connected:

• The available options in Project Setup will update
• New tabs and menus will appear based on the device type
