The Project Setup menu is where you manage everything related to your job - including Projects, Designs, and Work Orders and Device connections.
What You Can Do Here
Use Project Setup to:
- Create, open, and manage projects, designs, and work orders
- Switch between existing jobs on your controller
- Review current project details and settings
- Connect your GNSS receiver or total station
Accessing Project Setup
- From the Home menu, tap Project Setup
- You’ll see two main options:
- Change Project
- Review Project
Change Project
Select Change Project to:
- Open an existing project stored on the controller, or
- Create a new project, work order, design and surface
How it works:
- Tap on a project row to select an existing job
- Tap the + (or Create New) option to set up a new one
Review Project
Select Review Project to quickly check:
- The current project, work order, design and surface
- Key site settings, such as:
- Distance and angle units
- Coordinate order
- Other project configuration details
This is useful for confirming everything is set correctly before starting work.
Connecting Your Equipment
To connect your instrument:
- Tap Connect Device
- Choose either:
- GNSS, or
- Total Station or
- Integrated Survey
After Connecting a Device
Once your GNSS or total station is connected:
- The available options in Project Setup will update
- New tabs and menus will appear based on the device type
