The Stake menu provides all the tools you need to set out (stake) design elements accurately on site. This includes staking points, lines, alignments, surfaces, side slopes, catch points, and corridor features.
Accessing the Stake Menu
- Open the Home menu (☰)
- Tap Stake
Selecting an Object to Stake
After entering the Stake menu, the object selection screen will appear.
You can select what to stake by:
- Tapping directly on the object in the map view, or
- Choosing it from the object list in the top right corner
User-defined plane: Select this option to stake against a custom plane or level
New line: Select this option to define and stake a line that is not part of the current design
Stake Methods
Once an object is selected, SiteWorks will present a range of stake methods.
Available methods will vary depending on the type of object selected (e.g. point, line, surface, or alignment) and provide on-screen guidance such as direction and cut/fill to help you position accurately.
