Machine productivity data from Trimble GCS900, CCS900 and PCS900 systems can be automatically transferred into WorksOS or manually imported into 3D-enabled projects.
Automatic Data Transfer
For machine productivity data to flow automatically into WorksOS:
The machine control device (for example, a CB450 or CB460) must have an active device licence in WorksManager.
The device must be configured within the same WorksManager account that is associated with the WorksOS project.
For instructions on setting up a device in WorksManager, refer to the WorksManager documentation on adding and configuring field devices.
Once the devices have been configured, machine productivity data will automatically flow into WorksOS. The incoming data is then validated against the project's requirements and either accepted or rejected as appropriate.
Manual Import
If required, machine productivity data from GCS900, CCS900 and PCS900 systems can also be imported manually.
Open Imports within your WorksOS project.
Drag and drop a folder containing the machine productivity files into the Import Files window or browse to select the folder.
After all required files have been added, click Import.
No additional file selections or configuration steps are required.
Once the import is complete, the data is processed and made available within the project.
Note: Machine productivity (
.tag) files can only be imported into 3D-enabled projects. They cannot be automatically or manually imported into non-3D-enabled projects.
