Using a blank 32GB or 64GB USB stick, follow the below workflow to create the folder pathway needed for Trimble EarthWorks. This process will ensure the easy upload of data to your machine.
Please note: spelling, spacing and case sensitivity is require for EarthWorks to recognize the USB stick. Please insure all the below is copied to the USB stick.
Design File Pathway
- ProjectLibrary
2. Projects
3. Enter your project name into this next folder. This can be named to the users liking (does not need to be case sensitive etc.)
4. OfficeData
5. Inside this folder will contain your 'Designs' Folder. This also the section where your calibration (.cal) file will be added.
6. Designs can now be added to this folder. Supported files inc. .xml, .dsz, .vcl
GeoData Folder Pathway
1. Under the previously created 'ProjectLibrary' folder, create a new folder named 'GeoData'.
2. Inside this folder, you can now add your relevant Geoid (.ggf) file. See below example.
Your USB stick will now be ready for upload of data to a Trimble EarthWorks device.
