The Information Bar and Information Panel provide quick access to key measurement, stakeout, positioning, and design information while working in Siteworks.

Both can be independently configured for:

This allows you to customise the information displayed for different workflows and field activities.

Information Bar

The Information Bar displays real-time values related to your current operation.

You can choose to display the Information Bar:

At the top of the screen
At the bottom of the screen
Hidden

To configure the Information Bar, go to:

Home > Settings > Info Bar/Panel > Information Bar

Navigating the Information Bar

When multiple information fields are enabled, you can view additional values by:

Selecting the ◀ and ▶ arrows on either side of the Information Bar.
Swiping horizontally across the Information Bar.

Information Panel

The Information Panel is a separate display that can be added to one of the Measurement screen panels.

To configure the Information Panel:

Home > Settings > Info Bar/Panel > Information Panel

Unlike the Information Bar, the Information Panel can display a larger collection of information simultaneously.

When displayed in the main panel, the title changes based on the current mode:

A shortcut to the Info Bar/Panel settings is also available from the settings icon in the upper-right corner of the Information Panel.

Active Information Fields

Some Information Bar fields are interactive and can be selected to directly access the related settings.

These are known as Active Fields and are displayed using white text on a dark-grey background.

Target Height
Stakeout Line Offset
Surface Offset
Second Surface Settings

Selecting one of these fields opens the relevant configuration screen.

Available Information Fields

Position and Coordinate Information

Field	Description
E	Current Easting coordinate.
N	Current Northing coordinate.
Elv	Current elevation.
Lat	Current latitude (WGS84).
Long	Current longitude (WGS84).
Ht	Current GNSS height (WGS84).

Instrument Information

Field	Description
Ant Ht*	Current GNSS antenna height.
Tar Ht*	Current total station target height.
Horizontal Angle	Current horizontal angle being observed.
Vertical Angle	Current vertical angle being observed.
Slope Distance	Current slope distance to the target.

Design and Surface Information

Field	Description
Dsn Elv A	Design elevation from the primary surface.
Dsn Elv B	Design elevation from the secondary surface.
Design Elv A	Design elevation relative to the active design.
Design Elv B	Design elevation relative to the secondary design.
Cut/Fill A	Cut/fill value to the primary design surface.
Cut/Fill B	Cut/fill value to the secondary design surface.
Cut/Fill Between Surfaces	Vertical difference between primary and secondary surfaces.
Thickness	Material thickness compared to a previously measured layer saved as a design.
Second Surface Settings*	Secondary surface selection and offset settings.
Surface Offset*	Current surface offset applied.

Alignment and Corridor Information

Field	Description
Sta	Current station on the selected alignment or corridor.
Off	Current offset from the selected alignment or corridor.
R. Sta	Station to the selected reference line or alignment.
R. Off	Offset to the selected reference line or alignment.
Dsn Sta	Design station of the selected point.
Ahead/Back	Station difference to the selected point.
Inward/Outward	Offset difference relative to the selected alignment.

Stakeout Information

Field	Description
Stake Distance	Direct distance to the selected stakeout point.
Go	Direction and distance guidance to the selected point or object.
dE	Easting difference to the selected point.
dN	Northing difference to the selected point.
dZ	Elevation difference to the selected point.
Stakeout Line Offset H*	Current horizontal line offset.
Stakeout Line Offset V*	Current vertical line offset.

Corridor Feature Stakeout

Field	Description
Feature B Cut/Fill	Cut/fill value of the second corridor feature node when staking dual segments.
Feature B Design Elevation	Design elevation of the second corridor feature when using dual segments.

FXL and Feature Information

Field	Description
FXL Code	Description of the selected feature code.

GNSS Orientation Information

Requires a Tilt Compensation-enabled GNSS receiver.

Field	Description
Bearing	Receiver heading relative to true north.
Pitch	Receiver pitch angle.
Roll	Receiver roll angle.

Line Measurement Information

Field	Description
Measured Line Length	Length of measured line segments only.
Total Line Length	Total line length including the current position.
Last Segment Length	Distance from the last measured point to your current position.
Last Segment Slope	Slope between the last measured point and your current position.
Measured Line Area	Area of measured portions of the line.
Total Line Area	Area including the current segment being measured.

GNSS Quality and Status

Field	Description
GNSS Hz Precision	Current horizontal precision.
GNSS Vt Precision	Current vertical precision.
RTK Status	Current GNSS correction status.
PDOP	Position Dilution of Precision value.

Machine Guidance

Field	Description
Attachment Selection	Currently selected machine attachment when using Machine Guidance.

Decimal Place Settings

The Settings tab within Configure Information Bar/Panel allows you to control the number of decimal places displayed throughout the Information Bar and Information Panel.

Note: This is a display-only setting. All measurements are still stored internally at full precision regardless of the number of decimal places shown on screen.

SITECH Tip: Configure different Information Bar and Information Panel layouts for Measure and Stake modes. Displaying only the values relevant to your current workflow helps reduce screen clutter and makes important information easier to access in the field.
